Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) Panchayat Election Result 2018 | Live Counting | Winner List


Halqa Panchayat Elections in Jammu & Kashmir are taking place in 9 Phases. Polling days as notified by Election Commission are : 17, 20,24,27,29(November), 1,4,8,11 (December). J&K Panchayat Election result is to be declared on the polling day. So, after the voting completes on the Polling day, the counting will take place on the same day.

All the  voters need to know the election date at their place. On the same day (i.e. voting day), the result will be declared for your Panchayat Halqa. The Details of the Winner candidates will be shared online once the vote counting finishes.

Last Panchayat Elections in J&K Took Place in 2011. As, you can see these elections are taking place after a long gap. It will be a huge task for the government to ensure that the elections take place peacefully in the State. We are sure that Armed forces along with Local Police will take care of this. Jammu District has Highest Number of Voters i.e. 6,21,566. In Jammu, 2,568 Panchayat members will be selected in 322 Halqa panchayats & 20 Blocks. After Jammu, Largest number of voters (5,19,814) come from Baramulla who will chose 3,330 Rural Bodies members. Srinagar district has the lowest 32,337 electorate who would choose 170 panchayat members, Leh has 69,735 voters and Kargil has 77,038 electorate who would elect 687 and 750 panchayat members respectively

Election Commission of Jammu & Kashmir is the concerned body. There are around 4500 Panchayats in the state and the total number of wards are 35,096. The Nine Phased Elections begin from 17th November and end on 11th December 2018. After the Polling finishes, vote counting will take place and result will be declared. The List of Winning candidates will also be shared online by the Election Commission.

More than 58 Lakh voters are eligible to vote in the Panchayat Elections of Jammu & Kashmir. In the Official Notification released by election commission of J&K, Following information is available regarding results :

“The Counting of votes shall be taken up on the day of poll unless notified otherwise, followed by announcement of the Results”.

 The Election Process in Jammu & Kashmir will complete by 17th December 2018.

How to Check Jammu & Kashmir Panchayat Election 2018 Result Online

All the voters can easily check the result online, using the below given steps:

  • Interested voters need to Visit the Official Portal : CEO JK
  • Then click on the Link that Says “Panchayat Elections 2018”
  • On the Result day (polling day), click on the link “Election Result”
  • The result will be displayed on your Screen


J&K Panchayat Election Result : Winner Candidate List

Once the voting completes, soon on the same day, Vote counting will begin. After the counting of the votes, the result will be declared by the Officials. The election commission (CEO), will release the Halqa Panchayat Winner Candidate List (Names). We will provide that list right here once released.
